Kanneh-Mason’s violin performance of Vaughan Williams’ The Lark Ascending captures the fragile beauty of freedom, while Mendelssohn’s O for the Wings of a Dove deepens this exploration of flight and yearning. A newly commissioned work, co-created with refugee poets, bookends The Lark Ascending, reflecting on exile and survival.\nAnimation and artwork by a refugee artist will also be featured in the performance, amplifying stories of migration, loss, and hope.\nJoin us for a deeply moving and unforgettable journey.\n
