“A treat to hear snapshots of such talented musicians at different stages” The Times, 23 October 2020

On October 22, forming part of the Barbican’s live-streamed concert series, the Kanneh-Masons appeared in different combinations to take on a wide-ranging programme of their favourite music for piano and strings from the last 300 years, before coming together for a Fiddler on the Roof Medley, arranged by the siblings themselves.

As part of the stream, a special conversation between the parents and children gave us further insight into this remarkable family’s life, as revealed in Kadiatu Kanneh-Mason’s recently published memoir, House of Music: Raising the Kanneh-Masons.

To help us through these continuing hard days, this concert and conversation is now available again, via the Barbican, as part of their Concerts on Demand series from November 19 until December 2 and you can sign up here

The family’s performance received wonderful reviews: Seen and Heard International, Erica Jeal at The Guardian gave it 4 stars and you can read The Arts Desk here.
